Prices
The prices stated on our Website include VAT but exclude shipping fees, because Toridori offers several shipping options with different fees. The information on shipping fees are available on the page Shipping Information (in the section Information at the bottom of the Website).
All prices written in our Website are consumer prices (or B2C prices). For business customers (or B2B customers), please send an inquiry for a quote to info@toridori.be.
Toridori reserves the right to modify product pricing at any time. When we make such changes, we will notify you in advance via the Website (page News).
Placing Orders
You can place an order anytime, either via our Website (only for private customers or B2C) or via email to info@toridori.be (for both private customers or B2C and business customers or B2B). For details of the information we collect during your order placement, please refer to our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
After you submit your order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email with the list of your purchase, billing information, and shipping information. If you have chosen bank transfer or cash payment (see the section Payment Options below for more details), you will also find information on the payment instructions. Once you have paid and Toridori have received the payment (except when you select cash payment for your Goods purchase upon "Personal pickup" for your purchase), the order is complete and Toridori will deliver your purchase accordingly.
Toridori reserves the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order, in our sole discretion. In the event that we make a change to or cancel the order, we notify you via email to the address provided by you upon order placement.
Payment Options
The standard payment methods we accept are Bancontact, credit card, and bank transfers.
There are two exceptions as stated below:
- When you purchase Goods and select "Personal pickup" as the delivery option (see the section Shipping and Delivery below), you can also select cash payment. Note that this option is not applicable for Workshops booking. In case you select cash payment without following above conditions, we will reject your order even after you have received the automatic order confirmation email. In case we reject your order for this reason, we will notify you via email to the address provided by you upon order placement.
- When you purchase Goods during our Workshops, we can only accept cash payment because we currently do not have a credit card machine.
Once you have paid and Toridori have received the payment (except when you select cash payment upon "Personal pickup" for your purchase), the order is complete and Toridori will deliver your purchase accordingly.
Toridori may modify the accepted payment methods at anytime to optimize our Services. When we make such change, we will notify you in advance via the Website (page News).
Shipping and Delivery
Toridori offers shipments of your purchase only within Belgium.
The following shipping options are available:
- Standard delivery (bpost)
- Delivery of your purchase as a standard package with a unique tracking code. When you choose this option, you will receive a confirmation email with the tracking code so that you can track and trace the delivery process of your package. Delivery is done during working days (Monday through Friday except for public holidays) and it usually takes one to several days from the day when Toridori places the shipment. Depending on your settings of the delivery preferences with bpost ("My Preferences") as well as your presence/absence at the time of their arrival, they may deliver your purchase to either your shipping address, Pick-up Point, Parcel Locker, Safe Place, or your neighbor.
- Bicycle delivery
- Toridori will deliver your purchase to your shipping address by bike. This is a trial and is currently only available for the residents at postal code 2800. The delivery is done in the afternoon between 13:30 and 16:30 during working days (Monday through Friday except for public holidays). When you select this option, you are asked to give the dates you are available at the above time slot for the next 7 working days after the date of your order placement. On the day before our arrival, you will receive a notification email.
- Personal pickup
- You can come to our atelier in Mechelen (Karmelietenstraat 22 bus 302, 2800 Mechelen) to pick up your purchase by yourself at your convenience. When you select this option, you will be asked to give the date and approximate time slot (e.g. between 14:00 and 15:00) you want to pick up your purchase. You will receive a confirmation email for the pick-up date within 24 hours.
You can place an order at anytime; however, the delivery of your purchase may delay or pause at the time of unexpected troubles, during our business trip, or holidays. In the event that the delivery will delay or pause due to unexpected troubles, Toridori will immediately notify you via email to the address you gave to us at order placement. When the delivery will delay or pause due to our business trip or holidays, Toridori will notify you via Website (at the top banner and on the page News) in advance.
You are responsible to provide complete and correct information for the shipment (e.g. your name, your shipping address, your email address, your phone number). If you fail to do so and if that leads to failed shipments, Toridori is not liable to any damage caused by these incidents.
Toridori may modify the shipping methods, fees, or any of the related practical settings at anytime to optimize our Services. When we make such change, we will notify you in advance via the Website (page News).
Return Policy
Based on the Article VI. 47 §1 of the Economic Law Act, you have the right to return the Goods within 14 days from the arrival of your purchase. In order to practice this right, the Goods must be unopened, unused, AND in the original packaging. To return your Goods, you must: (i) notify us via email to info@toridori.be beforehand; (ii) attach a copy of receipt or proof of purchase with your Goods to return. Return shipping costs and associated risks (e.g. damaged or lost package) are your own responsibility. Upon the receipt of returned Goods, we may refund you within 14 days via the same payment method as you have chosen for the original order. Note that the refunds are only applicable for regularly priced Goods (i.e. not at discounted prices) at the time of your original order placement.
In case you find any Goods that arrived damaged, you must notify us within 3 days after the arrival of your package. If you choose Standard package (bpost), note that the arrival of your package is defined as the arrival at any of the following: your shipping address, Pick-up Point, Parcel Locker, Safe Place, or your neighbor. To notify us, send an email to info@toridori.be with the photo(s) that is/are clearly showing the damage. Once we inspect the photo(s) and confirm the damage, we will notify you via email in reply with the instructions for returning the package. Once you receive this email, you must make a return shipment of your damaged Goods to get the replacement. Upon receipt of the returned Goods, we will send you the replacement with the same delivery method you have chosen for your original order. The replacement and its shipping cost is free. When the Goods are returned for the replacement due to damage(s), the return shipment fee will be refunded within 7 days via bank transfer.
The return needs to be shipped to:
- Toridori
Karmelietenstraat 22 bus 302, 2800 Mechelen
